I was just wondering if normal or even weird/silly girls are OKAY with meeting guys from ONLINE.

ya know....MATCH.com or MYSPACE.com, etc etc etc.

the internet is a very normal thing these days and I wanted to find out if it's acceptable to try to talk girls that I don't know online.

i am a very normal guy and have plenty of friends in real life that can back me up, but I can't always tell the girls that online.

So am I wasting my time, do girls still rather meeting guys in real life or from other people they know?

I see no problem with it--as long as you are over eighteen, because meeting someone under the age is illegal. But, sure, why not? A lot of people find their boyfriends/girlfriends that way. Just make sure you don't creep her out by messaging her and saying 'Hey, sweetie, want to talk?' It's like a target that says 'I'm a creeper.' Just be like 'Hey, what's up?' And if she answers back, she might be interesting in starting a conversation. If you do become interested in one, call her--get comfortable with her first before meeting her. Set up a date to meet, bring a phone on you. Just use your head and don't be stupid about it. And no, you're not being stupid or wasting your time.

that's funny you say that cause i met my b/f off of myspace and now we have been together for 2 years and we are still growing strong. we even are planing a future together. for some people its easy and for other it takes time it all depends on who you met and how things go you know. for me it took only 2 months and really i was even trying to look for anyone. so i think its possible.

The great thing about meeting someone online is you are meeting the real them... unless they are making it all up. You get a chance to talk much more and the relationship isn't based strictly on the physical. I know quite a few women who have met their bfs/husbands online and are way happier than they ever were with the men they met in real life.

I met a guy online.. WE talked for about 6 months and we met. We were compatible online, but when we met, it wasn't what i expected. He was kind of goofy and I was not attracted to him. Since then, I don't meet guys online. My advice is to be very careful. If u do meet with someone, let a friend know that u are going out with them. Not to scare you, but women and maybe men have been kidnapped and killed by people that they have met online. My friends knew I met him. Just be very selective and careful.
