there is this girl at school that i like, and every time i pass her in the halls, she looks at me and gives me a smile. we only have one class together, but we sit on other sides of the room. her best friend asked me if i liked her, so i asked why she asked (I thought maybe the girl that i like told her to ask) and she said it was kind of obvious that i did. I told her no becuase me and the girl i like are already good friends and I don't want to loose that. she told me that the girl i like didn't like me. could this be true or false (was she saying it to protect her friend from embarrassment)?
