Yes definitely. Myspace is free. If you go to Mate1 or adultfriendfinder. Sure women are free in order to attract the men to join. But it costs something like 24.99 per month for this dating service and all it is - is myspace with a little bit of adult content. It's more easy to use. Dating sites offer the same profile stuff, browsing the users, and messaging members. It's 100% the exact same thing and they (dating sites) are making money off their users.

Myspace is a god send. Met two of my girlfriends there and one girlfriend i'm still with.

i would prefer a dating site.....myspace is to meet friends and network...but there are WAY too many guys that use it for dating. there are even those that try to go out with you even if you are "in a relationship"...they don't care....

i can understand using myspace though...you can get alot more info about that person than you can on a dating site just by previewing their profile and pics

I've got a profile on myspace, but I don't spend any time there or check out people there, other than those that contact me directly.

I like netrelate.com (or its sister site cybersoulmate.com) because I know a lot of people on there and it's a dating/social/networking kind of site.

I belong to several sites that are primarily used for dating, but am non-paying on all of them, so people who don't read (and many don't) never figure out how to contact me because they have to go beyond the photos to see my email address coded into the body of my page.

I really don't have a "preference" as far as how I meet people online...all but 2 or 3 of the guys I've gone out with the past 10 yrs have been ones I've met on the net somehow...via a dating site, social site, they ran across my Yahoo! profile, etc.
