On myspace or facebook or whatever, you know how you sometimes add random people you don't know? Well my friend she does that a lot and thats how she met me but we're going to the same college and went to the same middle school. Anyways when she adds people, they always accept. There was this one girl who declined me and made me thought I was creepy so I stopped adding people randomly from now on. Oh well I tried to show friendship but she didn't want to and my pics aren't even ugly or creepy. We're also going to the same college, I just I should add her because shes my friend's friend. Oh well. What do you think, do girls find this creepy or exciting to gain a new friend, especially when hes going to the same college as you?

I'm surprised you got that kind of reaction from someone who goes to your college. That's very wierd. I'd agree if that was creepy if you were some older guy, who had obscene pictures or somebody she couldnt'have ever met, and who lives on the other side of the world adn does god knows waht in his spare time.

It's really wierd. Maybe she's ultra sensitive and overly secure. Oh well. It doesn't mean yuo shoudl stop addign peoepl from your college. But don't add girls you've never met and who live in a faraway land. or city. Because that IS creepy. lol. But you're good.

some girls are afraid of meeting people via internet, plenty think it's cool to meet random people- even online. everyone's different... can't really give you a black and white answer on this.

A lot of girls are really uptight and think every guy's attention is creepy. They seem to think they're being stalked... pretty much a narcissistic point of view.

Well, some girls dont mind, a pretty face, and same location will get you a new friend.

but some people arent just looking for a new frined, and if they dont already know you, they wont even talk to you let alone accept you as a friend.

I dated an amzing guy that actually first met me by dowing that. He added me on his facebook because he was going to my college, we decided to meet before school started and we just clicked. So no, I dont think its creepy IF they go to your school. I have also met tons of friends like that they jst add me and we see each other oncampus and its like Hey I finally get to meet you! So dont feel bad. Its cool.

I personally am happy to see I have a new friend request on Myspace! But some people just like to add the people they know very well. Its most likely not you, just the person is cautious.

Would you walk up to someone in the street you didn't know and say "will you be my friend?". If you did, you would certainly get quite a few people saying "yes", but you might not want to spend any time with them!

did she know who you were? because i have to be honest, i don't add people who add me randomly. I'm not really into the whole "chatting" scene with random people since i've been married, happily settled down with tons of family and friends to talk with. I just don't feel like starting an internet relationship with someone i don't know, and i don't know if i can trust.

everyone is different though, some love to meet new people. I wouldn't stop cold turkey if it's how you meet people, that's great. Some people though just aren't into it, don't be hurt, know it's just their personal way of doing things.

When guys do this to me, I tend to assume they're interested in more than friendship. But I have a boyfriend, so there's no point in me adding them back. If i were single, I might act differently.

Maybe if you tried messaging her and making your intentions clear, or showing interest in something u came across in her profile, she would give you more of a chance.

well it depends. one guy who goes to my school did that and now me and him are really close friends but another guy did that but i didn't accept him and he kept sending me messages bugging me to add him because he wanted more friends. i found that pretty pathetic and creepy.
