Ok girls, I like a girl and last year we used to be friends. Now its been a whole year (dont get me wrong theres still the occasional "hello" and conversation) but I dont know how to start a conversation.
I recently got her on my myspace friends list and I need advice on how to contact her. Should I comment her or message? (stuff like that)
What would you girls think if someone from your past just randomly e-mailed you and said "hello, hows it going? I havent seen you in forever!"

Your idea sounds good. Just take baby steps. Be like Oh how's it going. And then comment her be like let's catch a slice on the weekend. Don't rush everything.

She probably feels the same way and doesn't know how to talk to you and get in touch. I think you should comment her first, just like your message, only it's less personal, and so not quite as threatening as a full-on private message. Then you can judge what to do next when (or if) she responds.

be real, be honest which is what you want her to be with you.
maybe think of something she use to do and ask how it's going, if you want to spark a conversation--or something like that. focus on making a new relationship and not picking up where you left off because it's been too long.

i know that im not a girl but i can help. if u like a girl and u realy want to talk to her go up to her and say something nice about her and she will reply. just say things about your self and then say things that u like and ask her what she likes and go from there.

Sounds perfectly natural and not like you are following her around peeking in her bedroom. Just email, or get her number and call her. Or IM and say, hey, I really want to get together and talk.
Don't worry so much. If she likes you as a friend, she won't be embarrassed just by talking to you. And if she liked you as a friend, she'll probably be willing to give you a chance in the more than friend category too. Good luck.

If u said that to me, id be happy cuz if you don't talk to some 1 4 a long time, it would be akward if it was more than 1 year so id talk now. Start a conversation by asking her questions like have u seen ____ or school related things and things that r popular now.

well if somethin bad had happened to end the friendship then it owuld bug me a bit unless it was like a peace offerin.
but otherwise that is a good way to start talkin to her again and if she replys just grow the conversation more everyday until you can talk in person comfortably and you can get closer then make a move
